    Wonderfully cosy and comfortable cottage where nothing has been overlooked. A luxurious retreat perfectly situated amongst the Northumbrian countryside within striking distance of the A1 and the coastline. Nestled amidst woods, meadows and open skies, the peaceful solitude was a welcome escape.

    Chesterhill was an absolute delight, Becky the owner was so helpful and the basket of goodies given on arrival was a surprise indeed. The sheep, ducks, chickens and chalky the goat were part of the beautiful surroundings. A great place to relax by a log fire.

    Everything about this cottage was outstanding. The welcoming pack from the owners was a delightful surprise and very much appreciated. The location was excellent for sightseeing. We had such a wonderful holiday we intend to return again next year.

    Excellent holiday cottage ideally situated to the A1/M1 for planning your days out. The cottage has a wonderful quietness to it and sitting outside you can very easily fall asleep, but then the ducks, sheep hens and goat turn up, who can be very entertaining.
