Lovely place, very spacious and spotlessly clean. Nice garden area at the rear, perfect for sitting out on a sunny day.

Great location and good parking which was a bonus in such a busy place. The cottage was clean and adequately equipped. Some books, games etc for a rainy day may be an idea. Not surprisingly there are a lot of stairs and my only gripe is that for this price I would have expected a second toilet. The outside area is a small walled garden which gets a lot of sun and we enjoyed sitting out there.

Nice comfortable, well equipped cottage but needs larger cereal/pasta bowls and coffee maker. Steep stairs and steps down into the lounge are a hazard for young and old. Outdoor facilities at back of the house a nice sun trap and the property could be marketed in a more positive light. Leyburn an excellent holiday town.

Very spacious cottage on three levels with enclosed outside patio. Good location near to the town square with plenty of shops, pubs and tea shops, and Chinese and Indian takeaways. Excellent spot for walkers.

Heating/ hot water system needs replacing, totally unsuitable for property, big, cold house? (I am gas safe engineer) Ran out of hot water a few times (shower and washing up). Also needs a few more things in the kitchen i.e. mixing bowls and measuring jugs. Not everyone eats out everyday!

A lovely comfortable cottage. On arrival cottage was quite cold so had to leave the heating on until the house warmed up. The bedrooms were spacious with plenty of storage and comfy beds/duvets. Bathroom had walk in shower which suited us. However, no extractor fan so no ventilation when showering. Staircase can be tricky for small children and the elderly/less mobile. Also several steps from the kitchen through to the living room to negotiate. Well equipped kitchen but we ate out most days. A log burner in the living room would have been nice in place of the electric fire. As it was winter we did not use the garden but felt this could be spruced up with plants etc and although practical, stone chippings not easy to walk on. Free parking available directly outside and also in the square across the road however it can get busy so no guarantee of a parking space in front of the cottage. Not a problem whilst we stayed in December/January but would imagine it would be busy in summer months. Overall an enjoyable stay in a lovely area.

Lovely cottage in central location. Walks from the door and more within a few miles. Local amenities good. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning in the future. Parking was a little hit and miss at times, apart from that a great place to stay.
