Brough, near Kirkby Stephen, is a peaceful Eden Valley village surrounded by dramatic Cumbrian countryside and rich in history. Dominating the village is the impressive Brough Castle, a striking riverside ruin once visited by Lady Anne Clifford, offering beautiful views and lovely picnic spots.
