Wonderful holiday home, perfectly located between great coffee shop and lovely pub. Hope to be back soon x

A truly excellent cottage. The photos don't do the size of the place justice. I was incredibly impressed on walking in. The nearby pub, the Horse and Farrier serves excellent food, great beer and has a very hospitable landlord. The cottage itself has all the amenities possible to facilitate a thoroughly enjoyable stay in the lakes, with two bathrooms and three generously sized rooms. If I was looking to stay for a week in he lakes again, I would definitely put this place at the top of my list.

Cobble Rigg was a lovely place to stay in Threlkeld. Beautiful views and everything you could need in the spacious clean house. The local pub is 2 mins walk away and the coffee shop in the village hall is great.

Well equipped, comfortable cottage. The rooms and storage space were exceptionally large. The views of Blencathra from the kitchen and dining room were fantastic. Loved the outside seating area with views also. Lots of local information and maps were provided for loan with DVD's if needed . We were very fortunate with the weather so we did not need them. The Horse and Farrier is just 5 minutes walk away and well worth a visit. We found it a little difficult to find the road despite really good instructions. This was because we did not expect the entrance to be quite so narrow. It literally is the first entrance on the right on Blease Road. Other than that a really, really good place to stay.
