Craigendarroch house was a great venue for our extended family get away. Perfect location just a short walk from the town and yet easy access to mountains and trails. Beds were super comfy and the photos don’t do the size of the house justice. There was plenty of space to escape and unwind. We would definitely consider returning.

The property was perfect for our family gathering. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread around without feeling on top of each other. The kitchen was very well equipped with a brilliant aga but also a cooker if preferred.great for cooking for large groups. Loads of glasses, plates, cutlery etc and also some childrens plastic plates too which we were glad to use. We loved the large lounge with coal fire for evening gatherings , plenty of comfortable seats for everyone. The bedrooms were all lovely with very comfortable beds and linens and we all enjoyed the quiet surroundings. Great outdoor space for the children to run around and ample parking too. It was a great experience and a wonderful place for a large gathering like we had.

Really fantastic large house which would suit large parties. Quality of accommodation was excellent and the house was well appointed. Our only criticism is that the heating and hot water was oil fired and it happened to run out during our stay, when it was -1C. The owner was very apologetic, but we had 9 people using the solitary electric shower and congregating on the one room with an open fire. Over than that a very fine accommodation.
