Had such a lovely few days at gorgeous Rosedale. The cottage is wonderfully comfortable and cosy and the very kind owners, Isabel and Alan, have thought of everything you could possibly need. I arrived after a long drive to find wine, chocolates and flowers on the kitchen table as well as milk in the fridge and a beautiful log fire burning away merrily. So thoughtful, and much appreciated! There's so much to do and see in the area I hardly scratched the surface in my three day stay, so already trying to work out when I can return and will definitely be staying in this lovely little cottage again. Thanks for a lovely stay, Isabel and Alan!

Every comfort was catered for. The cottage is really lovely and very clean. We received the nicest welcome when we arrived together with delicious homemade scones, chocolates and wine. Lots of amenities close by. It was a perfect base to explore the surrounding area.

Very nice cottage well appointed in as lovely location, just a bit out of the main part of the lakes, but very quiet for a get away.

The positive reviews were certainly right! The cottage was perfect and spotless. Everything you could need for your stay is provided and attention to detail is spot on. Isobel and Alan are superb hosts and clearly keen for their guests to have a good stay. Welcoming touches such as wine, tea and scones set the scene for a great break. The accommodation is comfortable and cosy if the weather isn't so welcoming and you fancy a day at home. All the main lakes are within a reasonable drive time as are the numerous delightful villages of the Lake District. For an evening meal try the Snooty Fox 3 miles away which serves great food and beer. We will definitely return to this accommodation
