    We had some of our contractors staying with Liam and Sandra for just over a week. The lads couldn't have been happier with their stay, spotlessly clean and the hospitality received from both Liam and Sandra was amazing. Would definitely recommend!

    Liam and Sandra are the perfect holiday cottage landlords... The cottage is ideally situated in a quiet suburban village a stones throw from Carlisle...and yet the location provides the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of every day life... The village locals are friendly and accomodating..and the local inn which is literally next door provides excellent food and a warm welcome to all newcomers. The cottage itself is immaculate and is a credit to Liam and Sandra's attention to detail. Highly recommended and extremely reasonable...check it out ...!!!! Tony.

    We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Eden Cottage, beautifully furnished and decorated and well equipped. The reason for location only scoring 7 would be that having a dog, walking was not easy on the narrow pavements and main road. Also the corner position of the cottage with cars stopping at the junction made it quite noisy at times. In all other respects this suited our purpose well whilst visiting Cumbria.

    The photos of the property were inviting in themselves but when we arrived it was even prettier than we expected. The whole place was furnished to such a high standard and was beautifully kept. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and it was easy to feel comfortable cooking evening meals. The owners very kindly left us the makings of a cup of tea and some essentials for our first morning. Sandra and Liam are a very friendly couple and are clearly keen to make everyone's visit a pleasure. This visit for us was on a work basis so we would go back to their lovely cottage in a heartbeat to have more time to look around the area and to enjoy the local facilities. Sally's tearooms and Steve Wilson butchers (who makes the most amazing steak pie) are two must visits for anyone.

    We arrived at the Eden Cottage and had a warm welcome through the owner. The Cottage is in a very nice location at Brampton. The cottage is very delightful and very nice decorated. There are two nice bedrooms and a great bathroom in the second floor. In the ground floor, there is the living room and very modern kitchen with very thing you need on a day to day base. There is a good Wi-Fi which I used for my line studies. As a writer and photographer, and I had a great time and with a youngster. The Location is ideally placed to Hadrian Wall. We spend a lot of time cycling in the local area. You have very good infrastructure for the daily needs e.g. to buy quality food, a great pub around the corner, etc. I can recommend this cottage very much and we come again next year.
