Lovely property. Love it's character and quirkiness. Perfect for our family. Beautiful spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. Cosy log burner and gorgeous location. Wonderful house, wish we could have stayed longer

A group of 8 of us spent 7 nights at this holiday cottage over New Year. The house itself is lovely, if not a bit quirky. It is in an excellent location with all the amenities on the doorstep. If I had any criticism it would be that there appears to be no "information pack" on arrival that tells you about bin collections, TV instructions, etc. Unless I just didn't see them? Overall, an excellent experience which I would happily repeat.

Ellinor House is an excellent choice for a family Christmas home. The Christmas decoration touches were lovely. We had a fabulous comfortable and cosy time.

A fabulous property for a family get together! 4 couples, all very happy with the size and comfort of the bedrooms...rare to find all rooms of a good size. Beds so comfortable (quilts amazing!). Communal areas spacious enough for 8 adults. Would definitely book again.

Great house for a family gathering short break. Plenty of space and cosy rooms with wood burners for that extra cosiness during the autumn and winter. Clearly a property with a lot of history (would have liked to have had some information on the history). Town itself has plenty to offer by way of shops, pubs, and local walks. Parking is on the road and pot-luck whether you can park outside, but we managed without any hassle to park fairly close to the house. Decor and contents are 'traditional' rather than contemporary, but we all loved it.
