All-round great place to stay, lovely village within short distance of many attractions, good restaurants and good walks

perfect location for me, ideal for a couple wanting to stay in the area, only 10-15 mins from local beaches and about the same distance to Norwich would definitely go again, great value, very comfortable

    It's beautiful

We were met by the owner, Amanda on our arrival. She's very friendly & welcoming. She showed us around & explained everything. We didn't see her again until we left 4 days later, she leaves you to your own devices. The accommodation is very well thought out, compact & comfortable without being small. There's a supply of dvd's in the apartment just in case you want to just veg out. Amanda had even left a new carton of milk in the fridge with an ample supply of coffee & tea available - very thoughtful. You're right on the edge of The Broads so plenty to see. I note that the worst score is 1. I cannot agree with that in any shape or form, it's just not justified at all. Would most definitely be happy to go there again & probably will. Pubs are good too!

Lovely quiet place and not far from the broads and beaches. Lots of local walks. Recommended

Fantastic cottage, best nights sleep we have ever had.

    out of 10

What a great place! Very comfy with everything you could need for a break away. The courtyard is totally dog friendly and has seating too. The window above the bed was in just the right place to see the 'Plough' constellation when we went ! Thank you to the unobtrusive but available hosts, we had a lovely weekend!

Absolutely everything you need to have a wonderful break. All the comforts of home, lovely hosts . We took our dog willow and there were lots of places close to walk her, fabulous beaches and inland walks too. Best of all great value, will definitely return. We left willows lead and Amanda sent it by post the next day,how nice was that. For a couple this was perfect.

Lovely cottage, spotless and we'll equipped. Friendly and welcoming

Fantastic holiday let. Ideal for a couple and a dog.We had a cocker spaniel and the enclosed courtyard was an added bonus. The court yard is fully enclosed and measures approx 16 ft square with stones and a few planters and is ideal for the smaller dog. There are some lovely beeches approx 20 mins away and most of the pubs at the beeches are dog friendly. In the village itself is a pub which is out of the drive..turn right then right again...max 5 min walk...takes dogs and sells aspalls cider... The shop in the village is left out of the drive and is again a 5 min walk..shop sells most basic items at a fair price.. When we go here again we will take a sharp knife and an ice cube tray...that is the only 2 items that my wife missed. The barn itself is stunning...we have stayed in many all over the country and this is up there with the best. Nice comfy bed. Good quality bedding and towels Fully working kitchen Washing machine Fridge Microwave Kettle Iron and board Nice big Belfast sink. Comfy seating and good TV and Radio Wifi is also very good. Good selection of leaflets regarding the local area and hot water and heating on demand. ..now the best bit... the Big Corner Bath...Bliss after a days walking on the beeches with the hail and snow...Negatives.....Cant think of any.... Thanks for a fab stay Will defo be back Loved the welcome dog treats and coffee tea sugar and milk. Thanks again

Brilliant little abode, to visit, walk the dog and just chill

    out of 10

Excellently equipped lodge, very clean and well placed for access to the Broads and coast. A very dog friendly location with a safe secure garden and country walks nearby.

    out of 10

Wasn't that happy in the cottage. Difficult to unwind. May have been me! Was the odd cobweb. The location was good near the Broads. Needed a shower curtain. I really wanted to know about local walks and footpaths. The local shop didn't have much information either.

    out of 10

An immaculate, well appointed cottage! We had a lovely welcome from Amanda who told us about local dog walks, attractions etc. The cottage was absolutely spotless & had everything I could have wanted from a holiday cottage. Thank you very much Amanda - my only regret is not getting a photo of your dog next to mine!!!
