We had a lovely time at this peaceful cottage. It was quiet but not too far to access decent pubs etc, the coast and other attractions. Loved it at dusk in particular watching for the deer, barn owls and bats near the cottage. Quiet estate roads were great for children cycling. Some minor improvements could be made to cooking equipment but that is minor. We loved it.

An excellent property that was so peaceful that talking felt loud amidst the peace!! Normally coming home from a holiday we rejoice in returning to our home bed and shower - at Estate Cottage however both our bed and shower were superb! Particulars online need tweaking as not all rooms are en-suite as it states. There was an issue with bedding when we arrived but this was rectified within a couple of hours. The ONLY negative was having no gate on the property, as we visited with dogs. Highly recommend this fabulous property and hope we can return.

10/10 for everything apart from local amenities, however this is not a reflection on the cottage, it was in the middle of parkland so the amenities were a drive away. We had a fantastic time in the cottage & visiting the wider area. It rained every day that we were there so we could not really use the huge garden, outdoor furniture, BBQ or the hot tub, but I am sure had the sun shone they would have been brilliant too. Alfie the dog really enjoyed the long walks around the park, with views of deer & herons to mention just a couple. The cottage had everything we needed, the main bathroom was stunning, the ensuites were excellent. The men enjoyed playing table tennis in the outbuildings. Overall a fantastic time was had by all. Thankyou

This was a lovely peaceful cottage and we enjoyed our stay very much. We felt there were a few things that needed sorting. We had continually ants coming through the kitchen door. And although the owner tried to eradicate them it did not work. There was also not enough storage for food in the kitchen at all and the dish washer was a half size one which was ok for us as there was only 2 but anymore you would be struggling. If you are looking for peace and quiet then look no further. We would recommend a walk through the estate and a look at the lake the swans were there with their babies and it was just beautiful to see. It is a good central location for exploring Norfolk. The beds and linen are beautifull and so comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our visit, the cottage was comfortable, we enjoyed the rural isolation. However, 1.We suffered from lack of hot water and heating for 24 hours. The thermostat was controlled by the owner's phone. There was no mobile signal to contact him easily. He said we could over-ride the thermostat, but did not provide the four digit code to do so. 2. We could not get BBC TV reception when we arrived, this was remedied on day three. 3. There were no instructions for TV or Radio in kitchen. An alarm was set on the radio for 2am and went off each night unless we turned the radio off at the wall. When the owner was persuaded to come to the property and sort things out, he was helpful and polite, he kept in touch about TV repairs and left an apology and bottle of wine for our last night.

We stayed at this beautiful house in early May. The setting and location were stunning. Set in Parkland, very peaceful and some lovely walks. We saw deer, kingfishers, swans and their signets, kingfishers and herd of highland cattle with their calves. The house has been beautifully renovated, maintaing its' beautiful character but comfortable and all fittings and linen etc of the highest quality. Good communication with owner who dealt with a minor problem promtly. We will definately be returning and absolute gem.

Very clean. Generally well equipped but kitchen cupboards were a little cramped and more comfortable garden chairs would have been nice rather than chairs for the outdoortable being the only option. The site info suggested that all 3 bedrooms were en suite when in fact only 2 were .

We had a great Easter break in the Estate cottage, set in a lovely private location, not too far to Wroxham and a lovely beach at Mundlesey. The log burning hot tub was good but too much work for us, were abit more plug in and press start sort of people. The house had everything we needed and has been kitted out to a very high standard. Theres a private swimming pool in aylsham which we rented for a few sessions which was great for the children. Would definately stay again.

We’ve had wonderful end of the year celebrations in family. The Christmas decorations were a lovely touch. And the size and quiet of the estate were much appreciated. We would definitely come back. Kind regards, Christel

Absolutely stunning house and location. Completely faultless with facilities, cleanliness, style and comfort. We loved our stay from start to finish and wished we could stay longer. The history about the house was great to read. We went on a horse trek around the estate too which I’d highly recommend. Would definitely go back again, already looking at booking my next stay.
