Surrounded by peaceful farmland, this charming cottage on the Herefordshire/Welsh border offers the perfect escape from the norm. For total relaxation there’s a private sauna and eco hot tub in the garden too. This black and white character cottage is over 300 years old and is full of charming features including the original flagstone floor. Set on a working farm with over 250 acres of farmland and backing onto an orchard where apples are grown for a local cider producer, it’s an idyllic place to relax. Take a refreshing walk in the grounds and watch the calves graze in the orchard. As evening falls, sit in the eco hot tub, fed with water from the farm’s spring, and watch the stars twinkle above. You might even hear the hoot of an owl if you’re lucky. There is plenty to do nearby too including canoeing on the River Wye, following the Cider Route, or visiting Pembridge, about four miles away, which is part of the Black and White Villages Trail.
