We had a fantastic week. The cabin is very well furnished with everything you will need. Plenty of space and very relaxing. The garden was a good size and the sauna was a nice extra that you don't often find on breaks like this. With the sauna there is also a second toilet and shower which came in useful over the course of the week. We went for a quiet relaxing break and were not dissapointed. It's a bit of a distance to any of the local towns, so be prepared to drive for any shops etc, but we were fully expecting this. Very lovely couple who own the cabin, they were friendly and available when needed but didn't intrude at any point. We'd happily go back again and highly recommend this place for anyone considering it.

Little gem hidden away from the hussle and bussel of everyday life. Chris was on hand when we arrived to show us around.. And explained how to use the sauna and hot tub, the added bonus to our weekend. A TV in each bedroom stopped the arguments over the remote control.. A great touch. Loved it all.. We will be back.

Lovely place with great hosts, the sauna and hot tub where amazing. We loved this part of Cumbria, and st bees head with its gorgeous beach and cafe is only 10 minute drive away. The lodge had everything you could need or ask for , we sat watching two barn owls hunting directly in front of the lodge , what an experience. We hope to return.
