A really lovely spot and great little cottage. The dogs loved the coastal path and we would thoroughly recommend for a quiet break.

Very pleasant little cottage, wonderful location. Highly recommended. Bedrooms really are for sleeping only, very tight and double bed bit lumpy!!

Wonderful peaceful vacation. Perfect for people wanting to get out of the town and relax. The pebble beach is 60 seconds walk away and you really feel like your on holiday the second you arrive in the hamlet. A really wonderful little cottage.

Great house for a dog with garden. Beach mainly stones so not great for the dog but plenty of walks in the woods. Very well equipped. Good housekeeping contact. Drove to the larger beaches which were lovely. Great place for Chritmas. No phone signal for any of our phones but Wi-Fi excellent. Pay phone in cottage. Garden path very slippy.

The cottage was in a lovely, quiet situation. A very short walk to the beach. Kitchen well equipped, but could do with a bit more storage. Basically reasonably clean but the bathroom tiles need attention. General attention needed to the house and garden.

We arrived expecting an initial amount of fuel to be available as stated in the confirmation from country cottages. However, this was not the case and we found ourselves having to travel several miles to obtain logs and kindling. The cottage was not the,”cleanest” that we have stayed in and in several areas, down the side of the fridge, behind a Welsh dresser, under the bed dirt and dust was present. There was also a terrible smell in the bathroom coming from the cupboard which houses the hot water tank which filled the room. It was impossible to get a decent nights sleep as the bed was so noisy, every move resulted in squeaking and creaking noises and the bed itself was small. I am only 6’ but found that my feet overhungbthe bed. It was almost impossible to get to the opposite side of the bed as access was very limited. We walked down to the,”beach” intending to walk with our dog but it was basically a pile of rocks - unwalkable and signs were present stating that water flowning from a small waterfall was contaminated and should be avoided. The cottage star rating is not reflected by the condition of the property. We have stayed in many cottages with a four star rating - all of which provided better accommodation and conditions - disappointing. My overall view is that the cottage rating should be reviewed. Having spent over £1000 to rent the property I expected better.

Needs a lot of tlc to bring it up to standard, it obviously relies on the location, but no firewood, fire lighters, matches, no batteries in clocks or torch really isn’t good enough these days, lots of comments in the visitors book about the above, but obviously no one reads them

Terrific cottage and very well equipped. Fluffy white towels, great pillows and bedding. Very beautiful, incredibly cosy and perfect for our family of four. Can't fault it! Thank you for a wonderful stay.
