    Entrance door difficult to lock from inside needs lock replacement. thick dust on tv & tv stand had to clean also tv remotes dirty . Sweet rapper on bedroom floor. Put small amout of water in kettle hot water overflowed on to work tops hot water dangerous. Outside could do with a bit of attention not inviting as seating area

    The cottage was lovely. It was well equipped and in good working order. A shower enclosure was broken when we arrived but there wasn't time to fix after the previous visitors had left. It was fixed as soon as it was able so no problem. The cottage is ideally located to visit a number of places of interest (Bamburgh, Holy Island, Hadrian's Wall to name a few). It's a little remote so you'll need a 15 min drive to main supermarkets, restaurants, etc. but that wasn't an issue for us. Would definitely recommend this as a great place to stay.
