Wonderful character cottage in a wonderful area with beautiful views of the woods and fields overlooking the front. Renovated to a very high standard, lots of mod cons. Lots of walking opportunities around Branscombe and along the coast paths. The cottage was the best equipped accommodation we've had. Toiletries, wine, milk, chocolates, scones with cream and jam. Very generous and thoughtful. Overall a superb holiday. Thank you.

This is the most beautiful cottage we have ever stayed in and everything was perfect and in a lovely location with an amazing view. The location was perfect for getting about and near lots of lovely places to visit and l would recommend The Bowd on the Sidmouth Road but make sure that you book.

What a week we had at the beautiful Grapevine. The warmest of welcome from Jo & Mark. Beautiful flowers, welcome basket and a bowl full of fruit we’re just the start. Not only were we spoilt from the moment we arrived a midweek phone call to help with what to do as the weather changed up on us too. We have never stayed anywhere so homely and we’ll stocked/ equipped. It was truly home from home and made a week away with the kids a lot easier. If only we had stayed for two! We look forward to returning and staying at grapevine again. Hopefully sooner than later. Huge thank you to you both as the extras made life so much easier and such a comfortable stay.

Lovely cottage, beautifully kept. The owners were very welcoming and helpful, and left lots of extras (fruit, scones, wine). Beautiful area with lots to do.

This is a fabulous cottage. We have stayed here a number of times in the past few years. The standard of presentation and cleanliness has never changed over this time. It's immaculate and a great credit to the owners. Highly recommended.

Lovely cottage with great views from the front of the cottage. Cosy and clean, well stocked and the owners very helpful and left us lots of goodies. Had a secluded and pretty garden which was lovely to sit out in. Would love to be able to pay a return visit if we get the chance.

Beautiful location for walking the coastal path and with all the conveniences of home when you return from a long day on the fells or the beach. Local Bus service to connect to nearby towns or to make connections by bus to visit tourist attractions further afield. "A little piece of Heaven in Devon"

We had a short break at Grapevine just after New Year. It is a lovely cottage, with great walks right from the doorstep. We were made to feel very welcome & thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The kitchen is well equipped / beds comfy & cosy living room made beautifully warm by the wood burner.

I could say this is a boring review about a boring cottage because everything is PERFECT about the place, lovely wood fire roaring when we got there, the owner was a lovely lady who left us a wonderful welcome pack on arriving. Nothing was too much trouble for her, the cottage had everything you could think of, even torches plugged in next to the beds in case you used the toilet in the night, how cool is that, even underfloor heating in the bathroom, in the morning you could see deer and pheasants in the field opposite. Just up the lane is the Fountain Inn which is 500 yrs old and serves great food. An outstanding cottage which deserves all the praise in the world.

This was our second visit to Grapevine as always made to feel very welcome by the owners, a very beautiful cottage in a lovely setting, will be returning again soon.
