That all important parking place is provided to enable you to ‘explore from the door’ one of the many wonderful high or low level walks or simply meander around this beautiful peaceful village and take in the majesty of the location. Blessed with a good selection of eateries by way of good pub grub and the renowned ‘Jumble Room’ the village also has a superb grocery store stocked with locally produced meats dairy and other delicious offerings.\nSpacious comfortable and beautifully styled Greenacres provides delightful views of the surrounding fells a sight that has inspired so many over the centuries. Two good bedrooms offer quality mattresses dressed with Egyptian cotton to ensure a restful sleep and the bathroom is fit with a power shower for a refreshing wakeup before a day on the fells. The open plan living space on the first floor is the perfect social space allowing each of you to join in with preparing dinner and share a glass or two of your favourite tipple whilst taking in some more of the scenery or choose from a variety of films available via the large Smart TV.     Green acres is an intelligently laid out and extremely comfortable property. The hosts have equipped it fully and there are a number of great touches. Grasmere itself has lost most of its non tourist shops other than a co-op and the Post office and so for more than the basics, a trip elsewhere is required. That aside, this is a great property in a good location and it is entirely possible to walk all week without using a car.

    Greenacres is a lovely cottage, ideally situated in Grasmere, close to everything yet still peaceful. The cottage is clean, well equipped warm and cosy and was a perfect place for our winter break. Overall I was very pleased and would stay again if visiting Grasmere

    Lovely house, well equipped, warm, comfortable and with parking (a wee bit tricky for our people carrier). Our first time staying in Grasmere as we normally opt for Bowness, glad we gave it a go as we had a great week.

    Located right in the heart of Grasmere but still tranquil and quiet. The cottage is very well equipped and spacious. We really enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it.

    The cottage is well equipped but some of the furniture and carpet is worn and needs replacing. The advertised PlayStation didn’t work either. The cottage had not been cleaned very well at all and there was dust all over.

    The house was very well equipped and clean, lots of nice touches.We had a wonderful stay. Just the main bed mattress was too uncomfortable for one of us.Luckily we could use the second bed which was fine.Overall a wonderful house and location.
