Great little cottage, in a lovely village, we had planned to use the train a couple of times, literally 100m from the station, but it was bus replacement because of recent floods. The cottage is well equipped and very comfortable, with coal available if needed. Parking for 1 car or possibly 2 small ones. Unfortunately the local pub kitchen was being refitted so we self catered all week. Very handy for lots of attractions.

This was our annual "dog holiday". The most beautiful countryside on the doorstep. Some limitation of walks from the house unless you want to walk miles but we loved what we had. All came home exhausted after walking Snowdon just before we left.

Lovely, cosy cottage. Great location, quiet spot, but close enough to surrounding towns and attractions. Really useful that the train station is two minutes walk, ideal for the ten minute journey to Betws Y Coed. The cottage itself was really comfortable and cosy, with two beautiful wood/coal burners. Everything you need for a family holiday or romantic break. Only negative is no washing machine.

We've stayed in the village many times and rate Gwernol as one of the best cottages, it can get chilly in the evening and the coal fire is lovely. The scenery and local walks are out standing.
