Harbour View House offers a comfortable and inviting retreat for family or friends looking to enjoy a Cornish holiday. Escape the bustling coastline and discover the hidden side of Cornwall—peaceful, unspoiled, and just 20 minutes from the beach. Nestled on the edge of Bodmin Moor, this tranquil retreat offers a true countryside escape, where farm and wild animals roam freely, often visible right from the cottage gardens.
Harbour View House sleeps up to six people and boasts a large, open-plan lounge and dining area, all complemented by wooden floors and underfloor heating throughout. The fully equipped kitchen includes a double oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, and washer-dryer, making it perfect for self-catering.
The cottage offers a double bedroom with an En-suite wet room, a twin bedroom with an En-suite shower room, and a further twin bedroom with an ensuite family bath/shower room, ensuring comfort and privacy for all guests. Outside, you’ll find a lovely outdoor dining area with seating for six.

Whether you’re looking for outdoor activities or a peaceful retreat, you’ll find it here. The cottage is ideally located for outdoor enthusiasts, with walking, cycling, and horse riding opportunities right on the doorstep of Bodmin Moor. There is secure cycle storage on site for guests to use during their stay and parking for two cars. Additional parking and bike storage is available by request. EV’s We are currently unable to provide charging for EV’s. However there are Several EV Rapid chargers located in Bodmin which is just 10 miles form Hallagenna Farm.
Activities that Hallagenna and the local area offers - Walking, Cycling, Wildlife & Farm animals which roam the Moors, Horse Riding (trails from the cottages), Livery Facilities for people to bring their horses on holiday, Easy Access to our rare breeds farm. The cottages are carbon neutral. In being so During the months May – September we often turn off the heating as the thermal retention of the building provide a comfortable environment. Should heating specifically be required during these months we request that guests make a specific request before their arrival.
