Lovely week spent at Hedderwick house in this well equipped, beautifully furnished and presented cottage in Pittenweem. Beach and harbour 2 mins walk away and the Fife Coastal footpath walk to Anstruther and beyond is well worth a trek. Would not hesitate to come back and stay again.

This house is very spacious, extremely well equipped and well maintained. It’s in a good location, you can stay and investigate locally or drive to many tourist areas. We would definitely recommend it, it is suitable for families and grandparents alike, due to its impressive size you wouldn’t feel cooped up. We do think that it would help for people renting to know where to park the car before you arrive would be helpful, as it’s a narrow one way road you don’t want to inconvenience the locals, there is a information sheet inside telling you but if you knew in advance it would be beneficial.

Lovely cottage good location for nearby attractions. Disappointed with the cleanliness of the property. Furniture and beds clean and fresh. Floors, skirting boards, windowsills needed a good clean very dusty and full of dead insects. Windows needed cleaned inside and out. Floor in main sitting room area had some dried in staining.
