Hidden Cottage, a traditional mid terrace built in the 18th century, is situated close to Coniston Water and village, and is within walking distance of an excellent Lakeland Inn. Hidden Cottage is beautifully presented and very comfortable, and has all the essential ingredients you would expect of a quality holiday cottage; open beams, a log burning stove and a delightful elevated garden which has fine, open views across nearby farmland. The summer house is the perfect spot to sit and take in the evening sunshine or even to enjoy on wetter days. If you are a keen cyclist, why not bring your bike along and enjoy the extensive cycle routes available around the Lakes. Hidden Cottage is situated on the superb Lakes & Dales Cycle Loop which is fully signposted. The cottage is only 8 miles from Grizedale Forest and its fantastic mountain bike trails. The beautiful scenery from the road through to Grizedale via Oxen Park is one of the owner’s favourites. The property has space within the garden to lock up your bikes. Hidden Cottage is a super property and once found, we hope never forgotten.
