    A really lovely place to get away from it all for 2 people. You can easliy get onto some easy walks for several hours around the stunning scenery around Crummock Water from here, or stroll down to the Kirkstill Inn for a pint and some great food. The Cottage is in great condition and well kept and everything we needed was available. A really enjoyable get away and would gladly stay again.

    This was one of the nicest places we have stayed in the Lake District. A beautiful, tranquil setting in a very comfortable cottage in which we felt very at home. We would happily stay here again and would strongly recommend it to anyone who wants an idyllic, quiet Lakes experience.

    A gorgeous remote setting, very beautiful scenery.Walks from the door are spectacular.Very comfortable accommodation with lovely views, and everything that you would need. Great local pub within walking distance The caretaker, Emma, was very helpful too Would definitely like to return.
