We had an absolutely lovely 5 nights at ivy cottage and really didn’t want to leave! It was so cosy with the fire going and was plenty big enough for two of us. The local pub is literally just up the road,it’s not cheap there but the food we had was super. Yes,the driveway is narrow but it wasn’t a problem for us and I always stood in the road for my husband to come out or reverse into the drive whenever we went anywhere so it was very safe as some drivers did seem to go past too fast. My only small complaint and it’s very small,is the items that are left being called ‘a welcome pack’. It was just a bottle of wine and a pint of milk! Very welcome, but just not what I would call a welcome pack. But as I say that’s just my opinion and not really a complaint as such. We would definitely love to come back to this lovely cottage as it was so central to lots of the beautiful Cotswolds villages. We had a wonderful break, thank you.

A lovely cottage in a very quiet location exactly as hoped for. Nicely presented a stereo/radio would be a useful addition and the bathroom and kitchen are slightly dated. We had a fantastic week and would use again and recommend this cottage to others.

More comfortable bed than ours at home! Cosy and in picturesque location. Car parking too small for large cars, but adequate for medium sized Volvo V50.

Mixed feelings. Cottage was clean and well-equipped. However the maintenance of certain appliances needed attention. The flushing of the toilet was temperamental which caused unnecessary stress and an early visit to the local pub; the dvd player did not work; the shower head had a mind of its own; the cooker was not fully functional. The driveway was so narrow that the passenger in our medium sized car had to get out on the road. A shame we could not rate the cottage higher as it was surprisingly roomy and comfortable with a delightful back garden.
