We had a wonderful time in Jubilee Cottage, where we stayed for 10 days. Positive: Beautiful authentic cottage, fairly clean, fully equiped kitchen, in a quiet setting. Three bedrooms (1 single bedroom en 1 double bedroom on the second floor and 1 double bedroom (2 single beds) on the third floor. Two bathrooms (1 shower and 1 bath). Located near Chipping Norton and Woodstock (Blenheim Palace) and an ideal location for visiting Oxford, Stratford-upon-Avon and several typical Cotswolds towns and villages. Negative: de WIFI reception was not good and there was low waterpressure in the shower.

Lovely cosy cottage. So cosy and welcoming. Thank you!

Very nice warm welcolming place but too many items left in drawers, freezer etc. therefore leaving limited storage especially as there were no wardrobes in 2 of the bedrooms. Good neighbours but need to be aware that you are adjoined to another property. Had to keep dog on leash as garden not enclosed. We were there at Christmas so although not a concern for us, as we played games etc., the tv was very small for the size of the living room. Hope this helps constructively.

Jubilee Cottage is a delightful period property, very homely, comfortable and cosy. Ideal for a quiet holiday. Steps to front door require care.

great place for a family as it is large with plenty of room with a local pub if you like a drink can.t say anything about pub as we did not go. it is pet friendly and our dog misty enjoy it.

We arrived at the cottage at night. The entrance to the cottage was tight but the gradient to this entrance was very bad. This was due to part of the entrance surface had been washed away previously by a summer storm several weeks previous. As a result of this we could not keep our hired car in the drive and had to leave it up the road by the pub. There are no street lights here so I was worried about the car being up the road. We had friends and relatives visiting us for meals and they had to leave their cars up in the village. This was not what we were expecting as we had paid for a two car drive. We complained but nothing was done.

The Cottage is in a lovely location. It has a well equipped kitchen with a lovely large conservatory and a nice cosy open fire in the living room. We had a problem due to the previous guest breaking the only double bed in the property, which meant we then had to sleep on the mattress on the floor for out first night. Owner was apologetic, but I wasn’t very impressed with just being given a bottle of wine as compensation. Not paying for part of that first night, or the whole night, I think would have meant a lot more. If you enjoy a shower, I’m afraid you won’t get one here, with only one shower available, it has no power at all, it just tickles, you will get a better shower from the garden hose pipe. There is parking at the property, but if you are not a confident driver you may have trouble getting onto the drive, it is very tight to swing onto the drive from the little lane, with the added gravel gradient to also contend with.

Fantastic stay at Jubilee cottage. The place was clean and neat with everything you would expect in your own home including conveniences such as a dishwasher, washing machine etc. Lovely garden and conservatory where we spent early mornings watching the birds and squirrels eating apples from the Apple tree. Communication with the caretaker was excellent. Local pub was fantastic and only 30 seconds walk from the cottage. Didn't find much else in Church Enstone but Chipping Norton is less than 10 minutes away with an Aldi and a Sainsbury's and more shops and places to eat. The only negative I can think of is the water pressure isn't great, but it didn't spoil the holiday. Highly recommended, would definitely stay again. Feels homely and cosy.

Lovely cottage with well equipped kitchen consistent with it being a sometimes-used family home. However, the beds all need new mattresses to make it properly comfortable. Location is pretty good for "touristy" things. Excellent pub next door and lovely bar/grill 5 minutes walk plus small village shop. Nearest supermarket 10 min drive. Minimal mobile signal and very slow wi-fi may suit some visitors!!!
