Fantastic cottage in a fantastic location if you want peace and quiet. Slightly dated, but there is everything you need for cooking. Shower is adequate but a glass panel for the curtain would help a great deal We recorded 18 species of bird at the feeders and in the garden. Pine marten, badger and hare all recorded on a trail camera. Red squirrels requiring breakfast every day, they almost knock at the window! We will be back in the future. Thank you for a great 2 weeks.

Fantastic location. Accommodation itself clean, but in need of some updating, particularly in terms of heating and hot water. We went in New Year and it was a little chilly. Lovely welcome pack and basket of logs awaiting our arrival. Fabulous birds and wildlife in the garden.

Maybe not the most modernly furnished bungalow but the location and available equipment and available stock of supplies make up for that more than enough! The bird feeders are a treat; bring some bird seed and you're almost guaranteed to spot blue_tits, cole_tits, robins, grey_tits, finches and even the odd woodpecker! I also spotted a red squirrel in the garden! Personally I stayed at Kintulloch to bag a few Munros in the area (the Drumochter 4 and Ben Alder) but you can just as easily make a few nice walks just from the doorstep. I especially enjoyed a walk in the forest just behind the bungalow where I ended up in a secluded glen with a ruined farmstead; you could just feel the history there. All in all very satisfied with my stay at Kintulloch!
