Maybe not the most modernly furnished bungalow but the location and available equipment and available stock of supplies make up for that more than enough! The bird feeders are a treat; bring some bird seed and you're almost guaranteed to spot blue_tits, cole_tits, robins, grey_tits, finches and even the odd woodpecker! I also spotted a red squirrel in the garden! Personally I stayed at Kintulloch to bag a few Munros in the area (the Drumochter 4 and Ben Alder) but you can just as easily make a few nice walks just from the doorstep. I especially enjoyed a walk in the forest just behind the bungalow where I ended up in a secluded glen with a ruined farmstead; you could just feel the history there. All in all very satisfied with my stay at Kintulloch!

This was the perfect holiday home. Peaceful and surrounded by nature. The bed was so comfortable and the house had everything you could need. Not for you if you want 5 star luxury but perfect if you like peace and to be surrounded by the natural world. Red squirrels visited daily such amazing characters! Would certainly recommend

We picked a cold week, waking up to a inch of snow one morning, but it was not a problem and soon melted. Loved seeing the wild life and for us it is in a great location.

A well equipped cottage in a quiet and beautiful location. Red squirrels and lots of birds visit the garden regularly, (make sure you bring lots of sunflower seeds) roe deer and hares nearby. Lovely walks right from the door, our week flew by.

Great place to stay if you like cycling, wildlife or walking. Red Squirrels & Badgers as well as a variety of birds. Only minor criticism was shower could do with an upgrade and a handrail.

A fabulous location with excellent walking right from the door (we didn't use the car all week). Red squirrels appear every day and we also saw deer as well as many variety of birds. The cottage was very cosy with generous heating and was very well equipped. If you want night life close by it's not for you as it's a 3-5 mile drive to the nearest pub but if you want beautiful scenery, a quiet location, lots of wildlife and dark skies it's perfect. I would recommend this cottage very highly.
