We loved our holiday at Ladybird Cottage. It is a beautiful and well presented holiday home. The countryside round the cottage is lovely and Inverness city centre is only 15 minutes from the cottage. Our hosts were helpful and friendly and I would recommend Ladybird Cottage to anyone. It also had good access for wheelchair users.

An outstanding cottage with everything that you could possible want, very cosy on those wet and dull days with lots of games, puzzles and DVDs to keep the kids entertained. Easy access to lots of different tourist attractions and the main roads. We would certainly recommend a trip to the Highland Wildlife Park to see the polar bears. We would have just liked to have seen a little less rain!!

Just fantastic, couldn't ask for any more. This place definatly sets the bar for all other holiday homes. Clean, superbly furnished and stocked. Had everything you could possibly need. Location is spot on, out the way if your looking for privacy but only a short trip along the road to a supermarket and the outskirts of the city. Could not imagine any better surroundings 5*

A honest review of Ladybird cottage. A wonderful cottage combining a traditional theme with modern amenities. Very clean throughout and great attention to detail with the furnishings; ensuring an atmospheric ambience. Very close to Inverness and Loch Ness and after a day of touring and creating many special memories the cottage was a comfortable retreat to recharge for the next day. Cannot fault the cottage itself or the location; but there were several nights my husband and I felt chilly and had use a duvet to keep warm watching TV. I have low blood pressure and therefore, feel the cold. The heating was on timed only and could not be adjusted by ourselves. Also there was no electric or gas fire to give extra heat when needed. We paid an extra £60 for Winter heating costs. We understand it does cost more for fuel in the colder months but when you have paid £60 and still feel cold, this seems unfair. The internet would only work in the kitchen which is where the BT hub is connected. Sadly no internet connection was possible for either of us in the living room or bedroom. As stated above we felt it was a wonderful cottage which would of gained a 10 but due to the lack of warmth and internet access we have decided to give a 8.

Hi Anyone looking at this cottage, will share the secret..... its perfect!! We stayed in September as completed the Loch Ness Marathon event and wanted a comfortable convenient place to base ourselves to enjoy some R&R. The cottage itself is finished to an excellent standard - in every room, exactly to my taste, the attention to detail with ornaments, lighting etc was great, it didn't feel like a typical holiday home, but a real home and a lovely one at that. The kitchen was super, whilst there was only two of us, it would be easy to see a family or two couples using the space well. The grounds were great, private and surrounded by trees which I loved, it was very peaceful too! I would definitely stay again and would recommend anyone to book it even if it might be a little over budget (it was for us but worth every penny - so lesson learned on that!) Enjoy Message to owners - thank you !

The cottage was very clean and comfortable had everything needed for our stay, a home away from home. The cottage is easy to find and well positioned to explore the highlands and Inverness.

The property is presented and maintained to incredible high standard. The owners are helpful and are on hand to ensure everything is perfect. This is the second holiday we have spent here and plan to spend many more in this delightful property and area.

Well appointed, all the facilities we expected and more. But, we were extremely disappointed with the “welcome” pack which consisted of one half-sized loaf of Tesco white cut bread which was time expired the next day, 1 pint of milk and a pack of Suedo butter spread. There were also a box of Qualty Street And a bottle of Buck’s Fizz which were superfluous to our needs. For a property of this quality and cost this was less than satisfactory.
