A lovely spacious cottage with a child friendly and dog friendly garden. Plenty of parking for four cars and in easy reach of Wells. Very good pub within walking distance.

A large party celebrating a family birthday. We had everything we need for a fabulous weekend. The cottage is beautifully decorated and has plenty of space for all. The kitchen is very well equipped. Lots of plates, bowls, cups etc. Beds are comfy and lots of nice homely touches. The garden and veranda is like another room in the house. Plenty of seats for dining or relaxing. We ate in the Carpenter's Arm pub in the village (less than 5 mins walk away). Amazing food and drinks. Highly recommend. Short easy drive into Wells for beach, restaurants and Co-OP. A very enjoyable family weekend in a very comfortable house. We hope to be back next year.

A very well equipped and spacious cottage for our party of 2 grandparents, 3 daughters, 3 sons in law and 3 grandchildren. The beds were a dream! The children loved racing about on the lawn and the adults loved relaxing on the terrace (when they weren't racing about with the children!).

Have just got back from a wonderful weekend There was a party of 10 & two dogs. Everything we could of hoped for plenty of comfy seating in lounge, large kitchen with lots of cutlery pots pans etc. Beds were lovely I think we all slept really well over the weekend ?. Fantastic large backgarden plenty outdoor games supplied excellent verandah with plenty of comfy chairs. Enough towels supplied for everyone & even doggy towels which was a god send as we had forgotten ours! Two large ensuite bathrooms a downstairs toilet & another bathroom on 1st floor. Heating worked great & logs were supplied for log burner. Took a trip out to Wells-next-the-Sea beautiful fishing village & a very impressive beach with a lovely beach cafe. Thank you Lavender Cottage for making our yearly family gathering a fantastic one ❤️ x

Lovely house and well equipped for our family holiday. Good large enclosed garden for the dogs and plenty of parking . A welcome pack and file would have been nice . We were lucky with the weather but the heating and hot water was not enough. 10 people going out for the evening and boiler not coming on until 5.30 so cold baths and showers for some! Also if the family get home about 4pm the house very cold. It would be good to be able to boost heating and water. Otherwise lovely place. Walking distance to pub which was very friendly with good food and only 10 mins to Wells.
