Had my son and his family over from Australia , we spent a week here in September and it was ideal , my disabled mum was able to have ground floor bedroom and shower room fitted out for disabled user on same level although not really close enough for night time use ,John very accommodating quickly offered use of a commode which we declined as we managed, my 2 and 4 year old granddaughters loved the freedom and space indoors and out, the sand pit was a great success as was goal post and footballs we were blessed with good weather so spent time on local beaches and visited Pembroke castle and folly farm all within easy reach. John was the perfect host available if needed but didn’t want to intrude

Beautiful clean and spacious house, in a peaceful and quiet area but only a 30 minute drive from Tenby, Saundersfoot and other tourist areas. John came to greet us when we arrived and bought some ice cream for our girls and he came to say goodbye when we were leaving and gave them some chocolate. Really lovely thoughtful people and the home made welsh cakes were delicious! Thank you for a lovely stay

A shelf for wash bags in the wet room would be useful. Couple of hooks on back of bedroom door. Lots of parking space. Well-equipped kitchen; easy to use. Suited a party of eight adults

Everything was amazing, the owners are absolutely fantastic and very hospitable. The property has everything you needed including extra fans for those very hot nights. The only minor issue was that in order to go food shopping you do need to drive around 15 miles to get there. The owners were amazing and very kind people who made you feel like family. Definitely coming back again!

Perfect accommodation. Plenty of space inside and out, warm and everything provided for your comfort. One of the best cottages we have ever stayed in. The local shops were excellent and near enough to the A40 for convenience, although very quietly situated with a beautiful view of the unspoilt valley below. Our hosts were very generous and welcoming with wine and flowers.

Eight of us spent three days here over the New Year and had a great time. The size of the cottage and the large open-plan kitchen-diner-lounge area was perfect for this many people to spend time together, and it was equipped with everything we needed. The owners left milk, Prosecco, red wine, white wine and mince pies for us on arrival which was a lovely touch to welcome us after a long drive there. In fact, the owners were great throughout the whole stay. The location was great for what we needed - a base to celebrate the New Year and central for visiting others parts of Pembrokeshire, such as Fishguard and Saundersfoot as we did. Apparently there is a pub only 5 minutes walk up the road but we did not have the opportunity to visit this. The only reason that an overall score of 10 was not given is that the bedding was polyester, rather than cotton, one of the showers in one of the 3 bathrooms was not very effective, and the cottage - converted from an old milking shed - is next to a still-working dairy farm meaning farm noises and smells were in close proximity. However, I would recommend this cottage to anyone that is interested.
