Llifon is a beautifully restored cottage. The property is well furnished with very comfortable beds and, as indicated on the website, is on a fairly busy main road in a rural hamlet. The garden is secure for both children and dogs and it was good to be able to park the car inside the gated area and let the dog out of the car secure in the knowledge that he could not get out onto the road. The cottage is spotlessly clean and well maintained. It is well placed to access both Snowdonia as well as Anglesey and coastal towns such as Criccieth and Pwlleli, it is within a 2 mile drive of a lovely beach at Dinas Dinlle. The historic town of Caernarvon is 10 minutes away with it's castle and supermarkets. There is a restaurant within walking distance although we did not use it.

Nice cottage. Lovely garden at the back. The main road wasn't too busy when we were there and in the main cottage with the windows shut at night it wasn't very noisy. Very handily located for local attractions and travel to various areas of Gwynedd. Not an issue for us but it wasn't in the description that the upstairs/attic room doesn't have a door.

An excellent holiday cottage. Thoroughly enjoyed all aspects, road noise has been mentioned by others but we didn’t find it a problem at all. Mari and David very helpful. We couldn’t find fault at all, clean and bright with all creature comforts. Dogs enjoyed the enclosed secure rear garden. Centrally located for all attractions. One, if not the best, cottages we have stayed in.

Excellent base to explore North Wales. Cottage was homely and comfortable - clean and fresh. We have stayed in many cottages over the years. This is certainly one of the best.

Lovely cottage. Spotlessly clean. Big, bright dinning kitchen with French doors opening to a secure garden. Perfect for the dogs or kids to play whilst you are cooking/eating. Cosy living room to relax in the evening. Spacious bedrooms. The cottage is next to a busy main road but to be fair it don’t really bother us too much. The cottage is beautifully decorated. Loved the art work of the local area which inspired us to visit some places which we had not heard of. Great location. 3 large supermarkets less then 10 minutes drive from the cottage. Everywhere we wanted to visit was less than 50 minutes drive from the cottage.

Lovely cottage, home from home. The only disappointed was it was on a busy road, you become accustomed after a few days, it is definitely located for young families or people who are able to walk or use the local facilities, I took my mum and we couldn't go far without a car, the restaurant was nice "the stables" we could walk to that

We had a great time this little house . Excellent enclosed garden for our two Flatcoated Retrievers . Our two girls loved their bedroom . Lots of space to say it only looks small from the outside . I would say the only downside is the location. The road is really busy and my hubby even emailed the wales Camera partnership due to the speeding motorists . It was also a little noisy as a result of being on the main road .

A beautiful cottage. Not too far from mountains, coast, woodland or waterfalls!! It is located on the main road so there is some noise (this is stated on the description though). The cottage was exceptionally clean and comfortable and well stocked to make you feel at home. Great secure garden for four legged friends too!
