Lovely spot, comfortable lodge and very nice hosts

The cottage was nice and comfortable, we did find a cobweb and the plates were a tiny bit dirty but overall it was amazing. There’s a co-op down the road that’s open quite late which we used quite a lot and there’s a lot to see and do nearby.

We had great time for our holiday at Loch Arkaig, Fort William. The cottage was really clean, cosy and warm with enough heating system. It had all necessary kitchen equipments for cooking with family. One of the most impressive thing here was fresh hen&duck's eggs from their farm. It was so fresh and delicious in reasonable price. The owner of this property, was really nice, friendly and supportive in any enquiries we did while staying there. I totally recommend Loch Arkaig, It's really worth for the money you spend on your holiday.

A little basic and slightly too far out of Fort William, but that said, a great base for sightseeing in the area. Superb host, Ewen couldn't do enough for us.

Seating uncomfortable. Toaster not working. Fridge /freezer in dire need of defrosting ice almost not allowing door to close. Mention should be made to the dangerous stairs particularly for aged persons such as us (83) also for those with small children. All cooker markings non existent meaning one has to work out which connects which. Property and “ landscape gardens “ need considerable TLC. Cottage in general is in a pleasant location with plenty to go and see.

Very nice place, friendly owner, the accommodation was good, But I would recommend that the sofas are replaced due to cushions have collapsed and is very uncomfortable also it would have been nice to have decent cutlery and dinner service (very mismatch and some chipped) and a full set of kitchen utensils
