Comfortable cottage in a lovely area - just a few finishing touches would make it perfect! Broadwindsor is a super village with a good local shop. Unfortunately the pub wasn't serving food while we were there. There are beautiful walks from the village and the coast is just a short drive. The cottage is a new build in a quiet turning. There is plenty of room inside and a nice garden. All the equipment needed was there but some of it needs updating (fridge, sofas). An information pack for guests would have been nice and there were a few cobwebs around, but it didn't spoil the holiday and I would stay again.

Meadow cottage has everything going for it and delivers in the most part. The house is very clean and the customer service fantastic, the faults here lies with the purse strings. The shower is terrible, weak and consistent temperature can't be found not ideal with kids or for anyone. The sofas are knackered and uncomfortable and the DVD player plays green. If the weather was great this wouldn't have been noticed but this is England. The mention of 1.5 acre of wooded meadow is nowhere to be seen, unless you go for a walk and the farmer has mowed (which he hadn't). Honesty and updating needed to complete the value here. The beds and the kitchen are great, small garden but ample, decent space all round, and a short drive to get to all of Dorset's best bits. Worth coming back, but, as a landlord, my hope is they update some things.
