Cottage is in a nice location and from the outside looks beautiful with stunning views from every window. Good points.. Nice location Stunning views Comfortable bed Decent shower Good wi fi Netflix Bad points.. Uncomfortable sofa/chair Dirty kitchen.. we had to clean the cooker before we could use it No 'spares'provided ie bin liners, loo rolls, matches to light the fire Welcome book has too many house rules Locals drive like idiots on the road past the cottage Kitchen space too small Walks from the door do not exist... the one that is highlighted in the welcome book takes you through a keepers pheasant pen with live wires that are unmarked lying on the ground which gave our dog a nasty electric shock

The location was stunning. A real getaway. We were well placed for visiting lots of local attractions. the nearest big town of Peebles had everything we could have wanted in amenities. the cottage is comfortable and decorated to a very high standard with lots of extras. The cottage owner was very welcoming and friendly. We would definitely return. The only downside was that the kitchen is on the small side for storage and self-catering. However, everything else was so pleasing that we made the best of it.

A very comfortable cottage in a peaceful location with lovely views. Friendly, helpful owners. We saw buzzards fly over and loved watching the cows in the fields opposite the cottage. Would love to return.

This cottage was in an ideal location for walks and cycling. It also had a great outdoor sitting area. Unfortunately this was not as clean as I had hoped and had to clean things before use. But maybe I am to fussy

Just spent a wonderful week at Nettlebush for our honeymoon. Such a beautiful cottage in a perfect location with amazing views out of every window. Garden was a little hidden gem with pheasants and rabbits making regular appearances. There really isn't anything we could fault about it, we just didn't want to leave. Travelled to Peebles a few times which has plenty of shops and restaurants. Took a drive to beautiful Edinburgh as well which took only an hour. We returned home feeling thoroughly relaxed and can't wait to return.

Nice quiete place away from everything. Comfy and warm. Great for personal retreat. Its dog friendly so me and my tiny dog appreciated it that. Dogs on leads due to sheep not an issue for us. Had what we wanted but I do think it was a bit overpriced for location and off peak.
