Great village close to forbidden corner and where we wanted to be. Pub close by great food there too. The house was amazingly well equipped and everything that we needed. We have styed in places that don't quite cater for the party size with plates etc. We had lots of cutlery, plates cups etc. Lots of space with wi fi games for the small people or big ones. Linen great quality and beautiful fluffy white towels, like being at home. We enjoyed out time there and would defiantly recommend or go back again. Oh wine ready for us.. Thank you x

Wow just wow. Our own haven with expansive grounds lots of parking feeling like we were miles away from everyone but only a few minutes walk from pubs-heavenly. Huge property easily accomadated our party of five adults and two older teenagers. Plenty of space for everybody and everything you needed to hand. The paddock field was huge and enjoyed as a football pitch. The garden furniture overlooking amazing views to all sides of the property. We were mainly blessed with the weather but on the odd rainy day the views of the rainy Dales from the picture perfect patio doors were really relaxing. Already looked and its available for our required dates next year so better rebook before it goes.

Excellent cottage. I would suggest one improvement: recycling facilities.

Had a great week at Paddock House. The property was very spacious and easily accommodated four adults and two dogs, a real home from home. Situated two minutes from The Richard III, and Dante Arms( recommend the Steak Pie). We did several local walks, from Leyburn and from the doorstep, recommend from Middleham Castle along the river to The Coverbridge Inn and back, certainly helped walk off our lunch ! Our only disappointment came when four sheep were put in the adjoining paddock half way through the week, which meant our Miniature Schnauzer, and Border Collie had to be kept on leads when outside.Would recommend.

Stunning location. Very well appointed, even down to a hair dryer in every bedroom. Very spacious, only two of us plus two dogs, but if 8 people stayed there would still be plenty of room. Parking for numerous cars. Plenty of local walks - don’t forget to take your camera with you. It was worth every penny. Would definitely retun.
