These attractive, converted farm buildings have been finished to a very high standard of holiday accommodation. They are surrounded by green fields and only minutes from Perranporth town, which is on the dramatic North Cornwall Coast and has a stunning beach with 3 miles of golden sand, backed by sand dunes and rolling fields. On the beach there are superb beach bars and restaurant, sometimes with live music, all combined with good food and local ales. perranporth coastal town is very family friendly with many surf, gift and local shops all within the high street that leads down to the beach. Surfing and surf hire can be found locally as well as a local golf course and horse riding stables which are both only minutes from Pencrennow cottages. The local grocery shop, pub and restaurant are all within 1 mile. West of Perranporth is the coastal village of St. Agnes with a selection of craft shops. To the east is the quaint village of Crantock a must visit for the stunning beaches and cliff walks. The surfing town of Newquay with its seven beaches is just minutes away with its many attractions which include a Zoo, Sea Life Centre, Creally Adventure Park, Lappa Valley Steam Railway, leisure centre, golf course, pitch and putt course, parks and gardens. Newquay has many restaurants, cafés and shops as well as beaches and dramatic cliff top walks. With its beaches comes surf and surf schools, so you can try your hand at this exhilarating sport. Truro, the capital of Cornwall has wonderful cathedral, it is easily reached and is a must to explore the narrow cobbled streets and enjoy the restaurants, shopping, museum, cinema and theatre for an alternative day or evening out. Padstow, home to Rick Stein’s and Paul Ainsworth food empire’s is a lovely visit for all the family if only to quietly wander around the narrow streets that all lead to the working harbour and enjoy the ambience provided by this traditional working fishing village. This stretch of coastline is dotted with quiet beaches, secluded coves and has a rich history of smuggling. There are many National Trust houses and gardens, such as Lanhydrock House, the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan, all within easy reach of these lovely holiday cottages.
