Lovely cottage with everything there to have an enjoyable stay. Had a power cut and the owner was so apologetic, and it wasn’t her fault, making us a lovely cup of tea. Very dark walk to the pub. Would recommend it to all

We have stayed at many cottages and on arrival thought this was the cleanest one we have ever used. We only had two nights but definitely intend to return as soon as we can

Very cosy cottage. We were made to feel very welcome.

Delightful off-routes location, with main supermarkets less than 4 miles away (in Chipping Norton). Attractive and comfy cottage, centrally heated with added log burner, which we didn't need in February. One sofa was more comfortable than the other. Beds comfortable, though headroom restricted by sloping ceilings around beds. Found everything we needed except for some small kitchen items like scissors and tongs, and "sharp" knives could have been sharper. Good shower over bath, an anti-slip mat was provided. Not actually dirty, but easy to spot a few dusty places and cobwebs. Small shop/cafe and a delicatessen nearby. Great local pub (The Tite Inn) only a few minutes walk away offering real ales and a wide choice of excellent meals plus specials....we had planned to eat at the cottage most nights but the pub was that good! It's on an unlit road, so take a torch with you at night.

We have stayed here many times. Always a lovey getaway in the countryside. Very clean, lovely log fire and provides just what we need. Very accommodating host too.

We had a lovely week at Picket Piece Cottage. Lovely welcome from Denise and Anthony Hobbs. The cottage had everything you could possibly need. Delightful garden. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Picket Piece cottage is very sweet, lovely garden for young ones to run around in & very peaceful. Cottage had everything we needed. Would have preferred a bigger & sturdier bed in double room but not sure if there is space for one! Mummy did not cope well with the large spiders but that's country living for you ;-) The village is fabulous, fantastic pub just down the road, little play park, lovely cafe/shop, deli & butchers and everyone was so friendly. A lovely holiday location, thank you.
