There is a function hall on-site (with conference and catering facilities for up to 250 guests) which may be available for use by prior arrangement with the owner.Neighbouring the owner’s farm, Piggyback Barns are situated in the peaceful village of Sculthorpe, just 8 miles from the Norfolk coastline with its wealth of sandy beaches, and RSPB bird and nature reserves. Excellent walking and cycling can be enjoyed from the doorstep.Fakenham, 2 miles, offers good shops, restaurants, inns, a bowling alley, cinema and golf course. Bustling Burnham Market with village shops, inns and restaurants, is 7 miles away. Wells-next-the-Sea, 8 miles, offers an excellent sandy beach with colourful beach huts, a small shopping town centre with many inns and restaurants, and a picturesque fishing harbour - popular for fresh shell fish. Further along the coast is Brancaster for an uncrowded sandy beach and golf course. Brancaster Staithe provides a popular venue for sailing and boating enthusiasts.The traditional seaside towns of Heacham and Hunstanton offer an array of activities for all ages. Many places of historical interest and stately homes are within the surrounding area. 20 minutes’ drive away is the historical town of Kings Lynn for shopping, market place, restaurants, inns and theatre, and also Norwich city for excellent shopping, castle museum, cathedral, theatre, market place, restaurants and inns. Beach 8 miles. Shop 1 mile, pub and restaurant ½ mile.These properties can be booked together to accommodate up to 34 guests.

Our weeks holiday was very enjoyable for the 4 couples that made up the group. We had 2 dogs with us and the walled front area and the walled and lawned private garden was safe and secure for the animals and would also be of great benefit if young children holidayed here. With every bedroom having its own en-suit bathroom there was no queuing for the shower!!
Plenty of room with the large kitchen/diner and lounge, would recommend to others.

We left a note of our observations which would improve the rating. No corkscrew, light bulbs to be replaced, glassware needed cleaning before use. On a positive note, the downstairs was brilliant for my not-so-mobile and sight-impaired father. There was lots of space and he was able to get round furniture very easily. The enclosed garden was perfect for the dog.
