Wonderful relaxing cottage within walking distance of Loch Ness, gift/souvenir shops,a co-op,a fish and chip shop and two pubs. The cottage has everything you need, apart from egg cups. The cottage has an amazing enclosed garden which the pooches loved.

Lovely setting and well stocked cottage with everything we could wish for. The bed was very comfortable although it was a bit on the small side. Couldn’t fault the cottage and the garden was a bonus especially as it’s fully enclosed so we could safely let the dog off the lead. Would highly recommend and would book again.

The cottage was lovely for two, very well stocked, lots of lovely extras - wine, flowers, tea-cakes - clean, comfy, and the location was great. Two good pubs close by, the Loch Ness Inn was fine, preferred the Benleva, which was a bit further away. Will certainly be back some day.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Riverside Cottage. It was ideal for our dog, with a good size garden which was enclosed for him to spend time in, and the added bonus of a river at the bottom of it, which he loved. The cottage was immaculately clean, with everything you may need. The welcome gift was a lovely gesture and very much appreciated. We would definitely stay here again.

This cottage was ideally located to explore the Highlands, but for us not very comfortable. The bed was tiny and therefore not really acceptable. My husband and I are not small people and if we had known how tiny the bed and chairs were we would not have booked the cottage

This was an excellent location for my wife and I along with our Irish Setter, Ruby and English Setter, Lily. The garden was very secure for the dogs and the cottage had everything we needed for our stay. The Loch Ness Inn is within 5 minutes walk and serves excellent food at a reasonable price. The local Co-op is within easy walking distance and has everything you will need for food and drink.

We had a cracking time at Riverside Cottage! The dogs loved the garden and the log burning fire! The cottage had everything you need and a pub next door - what more could you need? Lovely touch with the cake, wine, flowers and milk on arrival - thank you. I’m sure we’ll be back!

If you are happy with basic then it's for you. If you want comfort then it's not. It was superficially clean, mould & sealant peeling off shower cubicle in bathroom & dust bunnies all over the place. Kitchen reasonable. The mattress was awful, small double that you rolled into the middle of very cheap quality and uncomfortable. We barely slept all week. The wall light in the bedroom moved when you pulled the cord and there was a large hole at the side showing wires. The water was set so high that you couldn't hold your hands under it to wash and we couldn't change it. The toilet didn't flush properly and left paper in it no matter what. The wood burner spat out so much smoke when opened to add fuel and even some when closed that we used it twice and gave up as we couldn't breathe and had to open door and windows to get rid of smoke. We used it as a base and ate out all the time. Needs improving and updating. The area is outstanding but would advise against this property.
