Fantastic weekend away, lovely cottage, peace and relaxation, set in its own grounds, massive garden, secluded, the only noise you hear on a night or in the morning is the wildlife around you,the hosts were outstanding,a beautiful homemade cake ,wine, chocolate, eggs, every thing you could think of,we wanted for nothing, highly recommended, like a home from home.

Great cottagevwhich was generously stocked on arrival. Stunning location.

Fantastic cottage, with the owner providing a great service - available when required and went above and beyond, when we had a small emergency! Thanks so much, Liz!

Had an amazing weekend break here, this is the second time we have stopped here and it's perfect for getting away from everything. Loved the cake that was made for us, we didn't manage to eat it last time but this time we made sure we did and it was delicious.

What can I say. Fantastic all round. Garden is so big. Pictures on website do not do this place justice. One of my dogs is fear reactive so I felt so comfortable knowing that we were not near any other property. Welcome pack out of this world. The owner Liz certainly knows how to make your stay so comfortable and relaxing. She knew my mum would be watching Wimbledon so even made up a basket with pims and strawberries and cream with a lovely note saying '2 Centre Court tickets for Wimbledon '. How very thoughtful. X The views out the front of the property beautiful. Thank you Liz for making this holiday one of the best we have had. Our 2 dogs loved the place too. X

Thank you Liz for the best welcome pack ever! The homemade came was yummy. What can we say only that everything about this holiday cottage thoroughly deserves 10/10! Our children were very taken with all the wonderful wildlife that was all around and actually said we didn't really need to go out anywhere. A first considering they're teenagers!!! Obviously having Wi-Fi was also a big plus. If you like peace and quiet this is the house for you. We will be back!

The reason for the poor rating is that the grass was cut on the Friday when we arrived which was fine but then we were sitting out in the sun on the following Monday midday and a lady on a sit down lawnmower just came into the garden and started cutting the grass. I had to hold my dog back who of course was loose in the garden. Nobody had said on the Friday would it be alright if we come and cut the grass on Monday and when asked to leave she was very rude. The owner came round later that day with the attitude this is my property I can do what I like. We were rather upset and went home the next day. We have never had this happen before usually you are left to enjoy your holiday in peace

Absolutely loved this cottage, it had everything you could need and more. So many lovely surprises, with treats left in the fridge and cupboards and of course the wonderful home made cake. The rooms were all spacious and clean, and the surrounding gardens and views were wonderful. The only reason I gave a nine for location was because there isn't a shop within walking distance. We had a great week, and would strongly recommend.

The best holiday home we have stayed at, and we have stayed at many. Liz is an amazing host, would definitely go again. Thanks for a wonderful stress free week

Fabulous holiday. The care that went into making us feel welcome was amazing. Beautifully quiet with plenty of wild life and footpaths.

Wonderful cottage in amazing location, I'm not sure the photos do it justice! 360 degree unspoilt views, plenty of country walks to local pubs in vicinity and lots of attractions within a short drive, including amenities as required in Banbury. Plentiful goodies left by owner a perfect final touch. Best cottage break we've ever had.

If you want city lights and facilities, don't bother. We wanted peace, good walks and stars. This property delivered with comfort and warmth. Go to sleep in a comfortable bed listening to owls and foxes. Wake up to the dawn chorus and hares on the fields My kind of holiday break, short drive for supplies made the experience more relaxing, with many footpaths to explore and there was always a pub around for "refreshments"

Lovely place..Apart from.... landlady appeared three times unannounced! Builders turned up without warning, digging up concrete beside the house wrecking our day... Hidden charges, not in contract, watch out for those.

    Excellent cottage as always

Roundhill is a home away from home. Liz is an excellent host. We were very suprised about the large welcome pack. We really enjoyed the peaceful and quiet surroundings. Would defenitly come again.
