Salters Cottage (ref E5045), Chestnut Cottage (ref E5626) and Granary Cottage (ref E5626) are two-storey terraced cottages, and Field View (ref UKC2304) is a detached, single-storey barn conversion. Internally, these properties have been superbly converted and beautifully furnished and decorated.
    Set close to the River Steeping, at the edge of the owners’ 80-acre arable farm, which guests are free to explore, there is the bonus of free river fishing within the grounds (license required). On the fringe of Wainfleet All Saints, and within a short walk, is a famous brewery which offers tours, an on-site pub and a bistro, these properties are perfect for exploring the area. Wainfleet All Saints is a quaint market town with an array of shops, pubs, restaurant and a railway station. The traditional seaside resort of Skegness is just 5 miles away, and has a lovely sandy beach and family entertainment, including the Fantasy Island theme park. The National Trust properties of Gunby Hall and Tattershall Castle are within easy driving distance. Visit bird and seal sanctuaries along the coast, or take a trip to medieval Lincoln, with its famous castle and cathedral, just 40 miles away, across the scenic, rolling Lincolnshire Wolds countryside. Beach 4 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant ¼ mile.

    Always a pleasure to stay in one of the Riverside Cottages. This was our first time in Salters and my entire family fell in love with this property. From the cosy living rooms to the lovely enclosed garden it was perfect.

    Beautiful cottage, equipped with everything we could possibly need. Lovely well kept garden with spotless hot tub, very private too. Five minutes walk from centre of village. Handy information folder with tips for local activities, where to eat, etc etc. Couldn’t fault it.

    Had such a fantastic time in Salters cottage, the cottage itself is beautiful and the hot tub was just fantastic, Trevor is so helpful and there if you need anything, lovely place with nice pubs and close to the seaside, would highly recommend, thank you for a lovely stay, will be back again soon!

    Lovely place, bit on the pricey side. Hot tub stopped working on our last day but as we were leaving it wasn’t a problem. Cottage was lovely and and it was a really enjoyable break.

    What a lovely relaxing stay at Salters cottage. We couldn't ask for any more. The open fire was just what we needed after a day out and the hot tub was the perfect way to end the day. Trevor was very accommodating. We will definitely return.

    We highly recommend the cottages. On arrival we were warmly greeted by Trevor who took us through the property, we had rented two for a week, Salters was a 3 bedroom welcoming, spacious cottage with secure garden and hot tub, a bonus on site was a tennis court, although because we had a 2 year old with us we did not get the opportunity to have a game. The property was lovely, the people of Wainfleet St Mary were friendly, although the only pub in the village that allowed dogs was not the best meal, but the staff were friendly. There are lovely walks/cycle rides along the river & some quiet country lanes.

    Stayed in October 2018, village is fab, brewery, 2 pubs, 3 takeaways and a co-op all in walking distance. The cottage itself isn't bad and a good size but it is looking very tired and is in need of redecorating, it looked like it was in need of a deep clean as the windows were dirty in and out. The sofas were quite worn although still comfortable, the double bed mattress is very hard and left me waking in the morning with an aching rib cage, a wardrobe had the door hanging by one hinge. The kitchen is nice the fridge is only a small under counter one something to bear in mind if there are 6 of you staying, very good dishwasher and washing machine. No indoor airer though. WiFi is ok but our roku box would not connect although the firestick did, only occasional problems with buffering. Hot tub excellent and very clean, we also enjoyed the open fire.
