A wonderful cottage, in a beautiful location, by the sea. The location is peaceful but there are lots of outdoor activities there for the more adventurous seaflarers or just paddling and swimming.

Couldn't fault it. In a word; PERFECT!

Lovely place to stay, always nice to have a sea view, could stay there forever.

I can't fault the property or location, the only down point was the lack of privacy from the owners next door and their like for loud get togethers with their family and friends lasting sometimes into the early hours, this was confirmed when we witnessed a confrontation with their neibour on the other side.

Salty lodge was in an amazing position. On a private road and facing the sea with the Isle of White opposite. We were very impressed with the space for parking and the welcome card and gift wine. Thank you. Waking up every morning to views of the sea was impressive to say the least. The ease of travelling to the New Forest , Portsmouth and Chichester from here was great. We never cooked for ourselves, because there are ample watering holes within easy distance, Even though the kitchen was excellently laid out. As was the whole cottage. Come and enjoy this wonderful place.

Third visit to Salty Lodge - previously a 10 out of 10 holiday destination. Yet, on this occasion the dishwasher was out of use all week and the washing machine did not always spin at the end of a cycle, creating some very wet items! Good thing it was June. In addition the cleanliness of the cottage has slipped since our previous visit which is a great shame.

This is a fabulous cottage to stay in. It is well equipped, comfortable and tastefully decorated. It's position right next to the sea is a huge bonus and helps create a calm and relaxing atmosphere. Waking up and going to sleep with the sound of the sea is very therapeutic. The owners have created an ideal holiday home. We will certainly go again.

Salty Lodge had very thing we needed, clean and comfy. We had lovely views out to sea and enjoyed walking along the beach. Great for eating out and easy reach of places of interest, The Mary Rose we thought was Brilliant, and the Spinnaker tower also good.
