Mundesley village has everything on its doorstep, including shops, cafés, restaurants, pubs and even a tourist information centre in high season. Gold Park is a short stroll away with crazy golf, toddlers swing park, skateboard park, outdoor gym, basketball and tennis courts. In August, there is even a circus in the park for two weeks. For golfers there is Mundesley Golf Course, a challenging 9 hole course and Mundesley Bowls Club, both within walking distance and both very welcoming to holiday makers. There is also a children’s play barn on the edge of the village for the under 7s.
This is a great area for birdwatching, coastal walks, golf, fishing, cycling, boating or simply having family fun on the beach. Excellent year-round dog friendly beaches are only 7 minutes walk away, located either side of the main beach. Wroxham, known as the ‘capital of the Broads’, is just 12 miles away for boat hire and river trips, waterside restaurants, cafés and shops. The popular seaside town of Cromer is 7 miles away with its famous pier. There are many NT properties such as Felbrigg Hall, Blickling Hall and Sheringham Park just a short drive away. Blakeney Quay, for seal trips, is 23 miles and the city of Norwich is just 20 miles, with excellent shopping, theatre, castle museum, cathedral, cafés and restaurants, or a little further, Great Yarmouth is 27 miles away.
