A beautifully presented cottage in a lovely quiet location. A bit of a squeeze through the arch to park the car! The only down were the blinds, which were not opaque. With lights on they could be seen through from outside. TV signal downstairs not great - must be fixable. Owner very pleasant and helpful; very quick to respond to a very minor problem. But we had a lovely few days - may look to go back for longer in the summer.

This was our second visit to the Stables Cottage, unfortunately we found that standards had slipped. The level of cleanliness was not good, for example the oven and tray were greasy as were the plates. The flooring could have done with a sweep in particular, the staircase were dust had accumulated. The television reception in the lounge is poor and is reliant on an uplink from a SkyBox in the bedroom. We also found that the feature light in the lounge was no longer working. I guess the property has got tired and is in need of some attention if it deserves to hold its luxury status. The biggest problem was that on arrival we had no heat, in fact we had no heat on our first night. All credit to the owners in getting a plumber out the following morning especially as they are based in Florida USA. Unfortunately it meant we had to reschedule our holiday plans. As others have warned access to the allocated parking space is tight and larger vehicles will struggle to get through the archway. Aside from the property Llandeilo is a lovely town to visit, variety of independent shops to enjoy, spoilt for pubs and coffee/tea rooms. The location could not be better to explore the Brecon Beacons and the coastline further afield.

The only thing I would say is to warn about the tight access to the parking bay. I did unfortunately catch my mirror on it once as my car is quite large and it was a tight squeeze! Other than that all was well , thank you xx
