The Brambles was a lovely cottage from the outside and equally lovely inside. Plenty of character and very well appointed. Everything we could need was well supplied. Having read an earlier comment we took an extra folding chair as, with 6 people, it could be a bit of a squash around the table but this worked excellently and solved what was a very minor problem. It was an excellent spot from which to travel out to other places, being very central to accessing the Broads, very close to the water and surrounded by lovely old buildings. We had a lovely week and would certainly do it again.

We found the seating arrangement in the lounge of the cottage both impractical and uncomfortable. The dining area seating was also impractical if there were 6 people in residence. We also felt there should be curtains or blinds at the rear of the property to afford some privacy.

We absolutely loved our sray at the Brambles. Sue and Robert were fantastic hosts and on hand if we needed anything. We also had the pleasure of Donna, the resident Siamese cat who pretty much kept to herself but was very friendly and would only come near when she wanted feeding. The cottage had everything you needed and if there was anything not there, within a day or so Sue had got it for you. The bedrooms are really comfortable and cosy andit is a lovely place to relax with all your home comforts. We had not been to Norfolk before but we have fallen in love with it. Horning itself is very picturesque and the people are friendly. I would definitely recommend the Brambles as it is a good base to explore the area and a really nice place to stay.
