We really enjoyed all the character, the antiques, the aga, the pretty garden and our friendly hosts. Great Easton and the surrounding villages are picture perfect. Good restaurants a short drive away.

Beautiful house, warm, comfortable and well appointed. Owners were very friendly and helpful.

This is a lovely holiday cottage in a beautiful, peaceful location and with very welcoming owners. We arrived 7pm on a Saturday evening, and the 'meet and greet' was great! There are numerous things we really liked. The cottage is very spacious and very peaceful - you can even hear the resident squirrels going about their work! We both loved the antique 'vibe' and the kitchen was fantastic with a gas Aga and masses of space. The location is lovely with a small local shop (the pub was closed) and plenty of walks nearby. The price was excellent and we really enjoyed our stay, which included a mixture of work and pleasure. Lots of loo rolls, lovely large beds that were comfy - fantastic. The bathroom is fully equipped, and the water was piping hot so this was fab, too. If I'm being honest, there were a few things that didn't quite meet our expectations and although very minor things, they are easily sortable and therefore can be rectified with very little effort. There were a couple of light bulbs that didn't work in the lounge area. The sink in the kitchen was dirty - something had been used in the sink prior to our arrival and then not wiped/cleaned afterwards. There is a large net curtain on the back door for privacy purposes, which had a large brown stain on it, which I am sad to say I noticed straight away. This is me being very pedantic but it didn't look great, to be honest. The last thing we noticed was although eggs, tea and coffee were kindly provided, there was tiny quantity of milk in a small jug. It was enough for us to make one hot drink, but how much does it cost to buy a pink of milk rather than offering a tiny amount that just frustrates the guest, particularly is you arrive late following a day at work? Finally the wi-fi connection was poor. While certainly not the fault of the owners, as our visit was work-based for a good part of it, this was very frustrating. My suggestion would be, if not already explained in the cottage description, it should say "wi-fi is available but subject to a varied connection." Realise some folks don't want wi-fi, but then again, it's something that today is almost expected, like it or not. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the owners left us to our own devices, which I always appreciate. We would stay again if we were in the area.

We had a very comfortable two nights at the Coach House, sadly we didn’t have more time to explore the area.

We had a pleasant short stay and thoroughly enjoyed it. We would definitely go back. Loved the area.

One of the best holiday 'cottages' we have ever stayed in! 'Cottage' is a bit of misnomer as The Coach House is a gorgeous house. Beautifully decorated and furnished. Equipped with absolutely everything we could possibly need. Lovely comfy beds. Located in a pretty village with a handy shop and pub. If ever we are visiting the Leicestershire/Northamptonshire area again, The Coach House would be our number one choice for accommodation.

Wonderful holiday in a lovely location. The area is rich in history with many gardens and country houses to visit. The cottage was excellent - full of interesting antiques, but very well equipped and heated. The gas AGA was a joy once we were used to it.

I was never so comfortable. Already planning to return next year.

Styling of the interior is great with 2 sitting rooms. Lot's of character. However the interior is very dark (not a lot of windows). We felt a bit locked up in this cottage. The owners are living in the attached main house and are very kind and leave you alone (that's good). It was very warm the week we stayed and the kitchen was equipped with an AGA that was constantly burning. The temparature in the kitchen was 30 degrees !!!. It felt liked a sauna so we only used it twice. We are not familiar with an AGA. Some will love it. We hate it (the AGA that is). Outside space is limited and not private. There is some garden furniture. Nice to look at but not useable/practical. The ramp from the road to the property is pretty steep. So if you own a car with low ground clearance you will scratch your bumper.

A lovely place to stay - very comfortable, and supplies with everything you could wish for, all surrounded by lovely antiques so you feel as if you are staying in your own mini stately home. Lovely having an aga as well!
