Excellent property in a wonderful location. really well eqipped and a really dog proof garden. Close to many great places to visit in Gloucestershire and across the border into Wales in particular Raglan and Goodrich castles, and Tintern Abbey. Lovely walks in the forest nearby and also at Symonds Yat. A boat trip on the Wye at Symonds Yat is worth it. We will definitely be returning to this lovely area of the country and hope to stay once more at the Coach House.

We enjoyed our stay in the Coach House which provided a first class base for touring the Cotswolds and specifically the Forest of Dean. The secure garden provided a safe area for our German Shepherd dog so gave us peace of mind.

A very well equipped cottage in a fairly remote location. Good base for exploration. Good Wi-Fi & TV reception. Pillows too thick and hard and there was a dearth of sockets for charging electronic devices. Recommend Symonds Yat Rock for dog walking and views. Also lovely pub by the river at Symonds Yat West.

All the essentials were there, bedroom and bed on the small side. Heating a little complicated.

Had a wonderful escape from it all. Lovely, quiet location but great access to surrounding areas. Welcome basket was a thoughtful addition

A quiet well equiped property situated in a peaceful area. Close to Ross on Wye.

Nice cottage, good location with the Forest of Dean on the doorstep. Generous welcome pack, great to have a dishwasher, though the mattress on the bed is very hard.

The coach house is positioned perfectly for exploring the beautiful Forest of Dean and wye valley. The cottage is well equipped with everything you could need for a great holiday, and was extremely clean when we arrived, also the welcome hamper a lovely surprise. The garden is fully enclosed which is important to us as we have 2 dogs one of which is a escape expert! The only minor complaint was the sofa is small and not overly comfy. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending the coach house

An excellent stay in a lovely cottage. Log burner and hamper of Christmas goodies particularly appreciated. Our dog loved the spacious garden and the forest walks nearby. Will definitely return.

The cottage was very well equipped with a nice welcoming"hamper"with some nice goodies. Everything we needed to make a cuppa and biscuits ready and waiting! The cottage is in a very quiet rural area, a walk to a pub and co-op is along some unpaved unlit roads, so make sure you have a decent torch! Nice secure garden for the dogs with a short walk into the woods which was very nice, just a touch muddy! The area is great for being a tourist, with loads on the doorstep, whatever the weather.

Holiday was a nice escape from the fast lane of Surrey. Unfortunately the house wasn’t so up dated for our needs. We did stay until the Thursday and left a day early. This was a holiday for myself and my little six year old daughter.
