From the roaring wood burner in the living room to the inviting en-suite bedrooms every small detail has been addressed to ensure the perfect stay. There is a cobbled patio overlooking the garden which is ideal for a morning coffee or some al fresco dining on a balmy summer’s evening.\nChulmleigh is a desirable hill top village with a bustling centre of shops restaurants and pubs. The popular market town of South Molton has a weekly farmers’ market and a variety of shops antique and curio shops pubs and restaurants. There is an 18-hole par 3 golf course 2 minutes’ walk from the property and two further large 18-hole courses can be found within a 10-minute drive. Barnstaple 12 miles has a theatre cinema and leisure activities and places of interest include the Museum of North Devon Pannier Market 14th-century St Anne’s Chapel and the 18th-century Queen Anne’s Walk. \nOther family attractions in the area include the RHS Gardens at Rosemoor The Big Sheep and Milky Way amusement parks Exmoor Zoo and Dinosaur Park. Spectacular beaches at Saunton Croyde Putsborough Woolacombe and Westward Ho are all within easy driving distance for sailing and windsurfing and there is fishing at Tamar and Wimbleball Lakes.     We had a wonderful time! The coach house is a stunning home, with fantastic surroundings. Jane & Martin could not of been more friendly and helpful :) We used all the local amenities including the golf courses, The Red Lion and the Indian...all fantastic. There are many lovely local walks we tried too and travelled to Lynton & Lynmouth to do the Valley of Rocks which I would say is a must!!! We can’t wait to come back! Thanks for a perfect New Year.

    The owners Jean and Martin made us very welcome and nothing was too much, the Coach House was beautiful and very clean and comfortable we are hoping to visit again.
