Gorgeous property, by far the best holiday cottage we have stayed in. The hosts, Andy & Bernice we so lovely and had thought of everything. The games room was amazing on an evening and we had many family pool tournaments! We had a fabulous, relaxing holiday and will definitely be back. Highly recommended. Guests please look after it as it really is a little piece of heaven on earth! 😊

Spotlessly clean and very spacious accomodation with all the mod cons. Very friendly owners. Would have give it 10 however the location at the side of the main road means there is some slight traffic noise and a small tricky section of road to cross if walking into Horning.

Absolutely excellent accommodation in very conveniently situated area. Would highly recommend this rental.

We found the CowShed great for 5 adults across 3 generations. Being all on one level was good for reduced mobility, and the step in shower was great. Rooms and beds were spacious and comfy. The games room was really nice, and because it has adequate seating, a TV and small bar, can accommodate the whole family to spend time together. What the kitchen lacks in cupboard space for food, it makes up for with equipment, and also has a coffee machine with selection of hot chocolate and coffees. There is a private seated area to the back of the property, and small bistro set at the front. A lovely converted barn, the CowShed is nicely situated at the edge of Horning, you can take a 10 minute walk (2 minute drive) down to the River Bure, and enjoy a meal and a pint by the waterside. It's well situated for trips to the coast taking no more than 25-30 minutes drive to Cromer, Great Yarmouth, or Horsey Gap if you want to see the Seals. And Roy's Supermarket in Hoveton has all you would need just a 10 minute drive away. Andy and Bernice are friendly hosts, and we will definitely be looking to stay there again.

Had a lovely stay at The Cowshed

We had a lovely short break in the Cowshed - the only negative being it was a very windy weekend which made the property a bit draughty. We did plug in the portable radiators the second night which made a big difference. Overall I would definitely recommend this property for short breaks.

A wonderful stay at the cowshed. Bernice couldn’t do enough for us prior to arrival. The cottage is very well equipped, no detail forgotten. We hope to return one day!

Perfect cosy accommodation, the cowshed worked perfectly for 3 adults and 2 children. The property is very well maintained, clean and comfortable, loved the board games that the children found and the nice Christmas touches around the barn. Would love to stay here again

Immaculate cottage. Everything you need for an enjoyable break.

The Cow Shed is the most beautifully renovated property, a lovely basket of goodies on your arrival, everything is high end , bedding , towels, crockery . We were there in November to see the Thursford Christmas Show and would definitely recommend the show and the Cowshed as a must stay and see . In the summer The Cow Shed would be lovely with its own garden , games room with a pool table and access to the Broads for daily boat hire . We were a party of six adults and couldn't speak more highly of our experience.

Really lovely holiday let - Andy and Bernice were so welcoming and have catered for everything. Will defiantly stay again!

The cowshed is a stunning example of a barn conversion, we had an amazing time and the added benefit of the games room made the holiday. Andy and Bernice the owners are a lovely couple and were very helpful.

We found the cottage to be exquisite - having all the homely things you need (and more) whilst staying away.

Excellent accommodation, best we have had since we started going to Norfolk on a regular basis. Will definitely go there again
