We had such a great stay at the Dovecote. It was beautifully decorated, really warm and the biggest bed I’ve ever seen. The pictures don’t do the cottage justice, it was more than we could imagine and we really recommend it.

An extremely cosy, comfortable hideaway for 2.
A beautiful little cottage with everything we needed for our 2 night stay. The welcome hamper was a lovely touch. We would definitely return.

Hi Spec accommodation, well equipped, very thoughtful welcome pack. Quiet location ideal base for walking and exploring the area.
Lovely homely cottage in a beautiful area, close to some great reservoir, river and waterfall walks. Shops not far (in next village to local one) and excellent local pubs less than half a mile walk. Even having the bathroom downstairs didn't cause any problems and anyway the superb shower made up for that. The super king bed was very comfy and the kitchen was well equipped. Would definitely return. Lots more to see that we didn't get done.
A very well equipped and comfortable cottage with great style. Lots of good places to eat close by. Wonderful places to visit in the superb North Penines countryside.
