Excellent location to explore Hadrians Wall and beyond. 20 minute drive to the wall. Accommodation was clean and provided a good amount of space, with a lovely garden area with patio to sit in. As mentioned by others the kitchen is not well layed out, with small dish washer and mini cooker sat on work surfaces, but you can manage to make small meals. I hadn't realised there wasn't a washing machine though and didn't find a launderette nearby which was a bit of a problem. Using a towel for a week not good.

The views at the location were beautiful to wake up to and the walks were also perfect. I did find having cars turning and parking outside our bedroom windows each morning, alittle off putting when we were having a late start. If at all possible a way to freeze cool bricks, would have been a great help.

Nice place to stay. Warm and comfortable. Kitchen small but ok. TV reception poor - why not subscribe to freesat? Convenient location. Quiet. Nice, old-fashioned pub down the road. Enjoyed our stay.
