Step up to the patio where you can really enjoy the far-reaching views of the Burton Dassett Hills and surrounding countryside with the sheep keeping you company, and with the lambs bouncing around the fields in spring. The village of Fenny Compton is just a short walk away and is a bustling village community with 2 pubs and a village shop. Sandwiched between the beautiful Burton Dassett Hills, the perfect country park for walks, flying a kite or eating a picnic whilst admiring the views of rolling hills and open countryside and Oxford Canal where you can enjoy watching the narrowboats sail by and lovely walks along the tow path. Located close to both the market town of Banbury and Royal Leamington Spa where you can visit the many high street and independent shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants.
The National Trust property of Farnborough Hall is just over 2 1/2 miles away and opens a couple of days a week during the summer months. Approximately a 10-minute drive will take you to the edge of the Cotswolds, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and meandering through the country roads, you’ll soon see why. Approximately half an hours’ drive will take you to either Shakespeare’s Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick with its famous castle, Bicester Village, famous for its shopping village, the Cotswold towns of Chipping Norton, Moreton-in-Marsh, Stow-on-the-Wold or Woodstock, home to Blenheim Palace.
