Lovely cottage, and on working farm, location was great for visiting Bath, Longleat and Wookey Hole. The Rattlebone inn in the Sherston village is a must for sunday lunch.

Loved this cottage! My children loved the experience of it being a working farm. The cottage was really clean and well equipped. Friendly owner. Lots of nice places to visit locally.

A lovely cottage in a fabulous location - so many things to do for families within an hour’s drive. Short walk into village for fab pubs and a shop for groceries. The cottage is well equipped with everything you could need.

Lovely weekend away at The Old Stables. Everything was clean and we had all the extra bits we needed - all we had to bring ourselves, clothes, and toiletries. Rooms were all lovely and all the right instructions left for any equipment.

Owner lovely and left cookies and tea and coffee and milk for our arrival. Pros- peaceful location, amazing starry skies, lovely clean cottage, cute cows in field next to cottage, easy access to bath, tetbury, Avebury, Cirencester etc. Cons- wasp nest in roof meant lots of wasps in cottage, shower runs out of hot water after only two showers so takes ages for a family of 5 to get ready to go out, walk to local pub is down a narrow windy very dark country lane with no pavement or verge so a bit nerve wracking if returning home after dark.
